CHILLING AND GRILLING OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
These contest rules are specific to the above contest conducted by NRG Media, LLC d/b/a 107.7 The Island, KSYZ (the “Station”). Except to the extent specifically set forth below with respect to this specific contest, the Station’s general contest rules apply to this contest as well. A copy of these specific contest rules and the Station’s general contest rules are available from the Station’s studio at 3532 W Capital Ave, Grand Island NE 68803, by request, and on the contest page on the Station’s website at www.1077theisland.com/contest-rules. To the extent that the general contest rules differ from these rules, these rules will govern and control with respect to this Contest.
Contest Period: 6/02/25 – 7/11/25
How To Enter and Play: No purchase is necessary to enter or win. The contest is open to listeners who are legal US residents at least 19 years old living within 50 miles of the Station’s studios at the address above. Listeners will upload photos of food, and vote on these photos. The photos receiving the most votes will win.
– Listeners are encouraged to upload a photo of their CHILLIN AND GRILLIN MASTERPIECES to the Island’s website. Photos must be of food. Examples are grilled meat, veggies and seafood, hot dogs & hamburgers, even baked potatoes and pizza! If you made a summer meal on a grill or otherwise, let’s see it. If you’re wondering if it is eligible? Still submit it! We want to see what you’re eating this summer!
– If The Island’s promotional staff determines photo to be inappropriate to share on 1077theisland.com, the photo will not be approved for posting to the gallery, but the entrant will still be eligible to win the prize.
– Entrants will be asked to provide their name, email address, telephone number and date of birth.
– Photos will be posted on the contest page on the Station’s website.
– The photo submission period is open from 12AM on June 2nd, 2025, through 11:59PM on June 27th, 2025.
– Beginning 12AM on June 30th, 2025, online voting begins and will be open through 11:59PM on July 10th, 2025. Anyone can vote by visiting the contest page and entering the requested information in the form and vote for one photo entry per day.
How To Win:
– All qualified entries from photo uploads will be combined into a photo gallery on 1077theisland.com/sizzlin-summer-showdown during the photo submission period of 12AM on June 2nd, 2025, through 11:59PM on June 27th, 2025.
– Beginning 12AM on June 30th, 2025, online voting begins and will be open through 11:59PM on July 10h, 2025. Anyone can vote by visiting the contest page and entering the requested information in the form and vote for one photo entry per day.
– The contest winners are determined by the online public voting. The first, second, and third place winners are determined by popular vote. In case of a tie, staff will randomly select winners from tied entries.
– After the voting period ends, the Island promotional staff will review the winners and publish the winners no later than Friday, July 11th online, on The Island social media pages, and announce the winner’s on the air on KSYZ-FM.
CONTEST PRIZES: Three winners will be named at the end of the contest.
– First Place: $349.00 Blackstone grill from Hy-Vee
– Second Place: $250.00 Igloo cooler from Dick’s Sporting Goods
– Third Place: $200.00 Pork Bundle from Nebraska Pork Producers
Total Value of Prizes: $799.00
Entrant represents and warrants that he/she own the rights to, or have obtained permission to use, the photo being submitted. Entrant represents and warrants that he/she consents to and authorizes Station to post the photo containing the image on Station’s website or social network sites or use the photo in any other way Station sees fit.
Entrant consents, agrees and acknowledges that Station and contest sponsors and their respective affiliates, employees, agents may use for advertising and/or promotional purposes, entrant’s name, image, photo submission, other entry materials and/or biographical information on radio, on websites and/or any other medium in connection with participation in this contest or otherwise without the payment of any additional compensation.
By submitting a photo, Entrant grants NRG Media and 107.7 The Island a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, fully paid-up, royalty free, irrevocable copyright license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute the photo and derivative works, whether or not the photo is selected as a winner, and entrant agrees to sign any documents requested by Station to evidence such license.
By submitting a photo in a Station contest, entrant agrees to indemnify Station should any representations and warranties made by entrant herein or in the applicable contest rules prove to be false or inaccurate.

· Photos must be photos entrant’s own photo, or Entrant must have permission to submit the photo.· All persons in the photo have agreed to be in the photo and to have the photo posted on the Station’s webpage as part of the contest and the entrant has the right to make the necessary consents on behalf of the individuals in the image.· Photo entries must not contain or depict any registered trade/servicemark or other copyrighted material other than those owned or licensed by the entrants or the Station or a Contest Sponsor. Further, Station may, but is not obligated to pixelate/cover any trademarks, servicemarks, or copyrighted materials in Station’s sole discretion.

Photo entries, as well as any comments that may be posted to any photo entries in this contest, must not contain or convey any content that the Station determines at its sole discretion, subjectively or otherwise, (i) to be indecent, profane, obscene, explicitly sexual, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, libelous, or hateful, (ii) to be racially, ethnically, or otherwise offensive or objectionable, (iii) to encourage unlawful behavior, (iv) to infringe upon the brand names, trade-marks, trade names, logos, or any other intellectual property that may belong to a third party, or (v) to disclose any detailed personal, physical, contact, or otherwise confidential information that may belong to a third party. Station shall not be required to make the same determination based on the foregoing for every photo and may treat each photo entry differently, in its sole discretion, even if the problematic content is similar. Station may reject any entry in its sole discretion.
BY ENTERING THIS CONTEST AND SUBMITTING PHOTOGRAPH, THE ENTRANT IS REPRESENTING TO STATION THAT THE USE AND DISTRIBUTION OF SUCH PHOTOGRAPH WILL NOT VIOLATE OR INFRINGE UPON THE RIGHTS OF ANY THIRD PARTY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, COPYRIGHTS OF OTHERS.
By entering this contest, Entrants understand and agree that Station may elect to use any entry submitted for entertainment purposes and may choose to comment on, mock, poke fun at, and/or mimic any entry submitted. Entrants waive any right to make any claim against Station or any contest sponsors with respect to any comments – disparaging or otherwise – made regarding such Entrant’s entry.
Entrant acknowledges and agrees that the contest rules are available to entrant, that entrant has had an opportunity to review the rules before entering this contest and the entrant agrees to be legally bound by the contest rules.
