Howard Jones is hitting the road this year to celebrate the 40th anniversary of his classic album Dream Into Action.
The tour will kick off Sept. 2 at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium and wrap Sept. 22 in South Jordan, Utah. It will feature special guest Haircut 100, who toured with Jones last year, and a DJ set by Richard Blade.
“Thrilled to be touring with my good friends Haircut 100 and Richard Blade once again for this celebratory anniversary of Dream Into Action,” Jones says, “the shows are gonna be rocking, can’t wait to see you there.”
Tickets go on sale Friday. A complete list of dates and more ticket info can be found at HowardJones.com.
Released in March 1985, Dream Into Action was Jones’ sophomore release and featured the top-five hit “Things Can Only Get Better,” as well as the top-20 hit “Life In One Day” and “Look Mama.” It also featured the original recording of “No One Is To Blame,” which became a top-five hit after a new arrangement was released in 1986.
