GRAND ISLAND – Grant Island Public Schools Board of Education member Katie Mauldin is resigning.
“We were informed last evening that Ms. Mauldin has resigned her position on the GIPS Board of Education,” said Mitch Roush, Director of Communications and Marketing for Grand Island Public Schools.
“Her reason is due to accepting a job that will require her to move to another community,” Roush said.
Roush said the topic will be on the agenda for the Aug. 8 Board of Education meeting.
Mauldin was elected in 2022 and represents Ward C.
