GRAND ISLAND — Old Navy will be opening a store on the east side of Conestoga Marketplace in the fall, according to a sign on the window where the store will be located.

Each of the windows where the store will be located has a design related to Old Navy covering the window.

“Old Navy is planning to open a store in Conestoga Marketplace in Grand Island this fall. Old Navy (part of Gap Inc.) is a global retailer that offers fun, fashionable and affordable clothing for the entire family (oldnavy.com). We believe in the democracy of style for all, and value inclusivity, opportunities for youth, and a future that’s sustainable for its customers, employees, and communities,” according to an Old Navy spokesperson.

According to Old Navy’s website, the company opened its first store in 1994. It is now one of the largest apparel brands in the world.
Old Navy is an apparel and accessories brand for the entire family. Old Navy makes women’s clothing, men’s clothing and kids clothing.

Founded in 1994 in San Francisco to bring style to the people, Old Navy now has over 1,100 stores, and over 4 million visitors to its website every year.

An email sent to Woodsonia Real Estate, which is developing Conestoga Marketplace, about Old Navy was not returned.
