Nebraska author Willa Cather has officially joined the National Statuary Hall.
A bronze statue of Cather was unveiled Wednesday morning in the National Statuary Hall of the U.S. Capitol.
Cather joins Ponca Chief Standing Bear, as one of the two sculptures to represent Nebraska, and also as the 12th woman to join the hall.
