Billy Gibbons, Paul Rodgers, Slash, Warren Haynes, former Allman Brothers Band keyboardist Chuck Leavell and a handful of country artists will take part in a tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd in celebration of the 50th anniversary of their first album, (Pronounced ‘Leh-‘nerd ‘Skin-‘nerd), at Sunday’s CMT Music Awards, 8pm ET on CBS.
Billy Gibbons is among the artists who contributed new tracks to the Sweetwater soundtrack, which is due out April 14th. The film tells the story of Nat “Sweetwater” Clifton, the first Black man to land an NBA contract.
KISS added four more shows, all in October, to their End of the Road tour. They are the 20th in Detroit at Little Caesars Arena, which is now the first show; the 23rd in Nashville at the Bridgestone Arena; the 25th in St. Louis at the Enterprise Center; and the 27th in Ft. Worth, Texas at Dickies Arena. The tour resumes on April 12th in Brazil.
Guns n’ Roses are releasing a fan club-only live CD that will be shipped before their tour starts June 1st in Abu Dhabi. London 1991 has six unreleased tracks from their August 31st, 1991 show.

Steve Van Zandt and his Disciples of Soul will do a one-off show at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, New Jersey on April 18th. It will be filmed and released later this year.
Def Leppard have released the Director’s Cut video for “Animal (Drastic Symphonies)” from their new album, Drastic Symphonies, which they recorded with London’s Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. It will be out on May 19th.
