It’s beginning to sound a lot like Christmas … But Christmas sounds a little different in every state. There’s a lot of disagreement about naming the best holiday song, but a surprise song earned top honors in the most states — “Feliz Navidad,” which was the top choice in 11 states.

That catchy classic was followed closely by “Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow,” the fave sing-along in eight states. “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” and “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” are tied as the third-most-popular Christmas tunes. They each were the top choice in four different states

Mariah Carey‘s almost inescapable “All I Want for Christmas Is You” only ruled two states — New Hampshire and Hawaii. And if you’re looking to avoid Whamaggedon, steer clear of Oregon and Wyoming, the two places where Wham‘s “Last Christmas” is the most-loved holiday tune.
