LINCOLN – Kickoff time for the annual Red-White Spring Game at Memorial Stadium has now been set.
Nebraska Athletic Director Trev Alberts joined his monthly appearance on Sports Nightly on Wednesday night across the Huskers Radio Network, giving fans an update on the annual scrimmage for Nebraska Football. The date had been previously discussed, as Nebraska Football was slated to end their spring session with the Spring Game on April 27.
Alberts stated that the kickoff time is now set for 11 AM in what he hopes to be a full day of Big Red athletics.
The athletic director continued by stating he was hoping to be able to bring Nebraska families down for the Spring Game in the late morning, continuing the action at the softball competition later that afternoon, with a baseball game also scheduled later that day.
The tickets for the Spring Game will go on sale Feb. 6 to season-ticket holders, then on Feb. 7 to the general public.
Tickets for the general public will cost $15, $5 for high school age or younger and free for UNL students. There will be $25 tickets for any club seating available.
