Kearney, NE – BHECN-Central, UNK Psychology, and UNK Athletics are proud to present a speaker event featuring Dr. Brett Haskell (McCurdy), a UNK Psychology and Volleyball alumnus. Dr. Haskell, currently the Director of the UNL Sport Psychology Program, will speak on Sport Psychology and its benefits for well-being and performance.
The talk, entitled It’s All in Your Mind: How Sport Psychology Training Can Elevate Well-being and Performance, will take place on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Copeland Hall, UNK-Room 142.
As a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC), Dr. Haskell has extensive experience in the field of Sport Psychology and has served as UNL’s Sport Psychologist prior to her current position as the UNL Sport Psychology Program director. In addition, she serves on the Big Ten Mental Health and Wellness Cabinet and is on the USOPC Sport Psychology Registry.
