Stevie Nicks has released a cover of Buffalo Springfield’s “For What It’s Worth”.
It was written in 1966 by Stephen Stills in response to the November 1966 Sunset Strip curfew riots in Los Angeles. Stevie said, “It meant something to me then, and it means something to me now. I always wanted to interpret it through the eyes of a woman and it seems like today, in the times we live in, it has a lot to say… I can’t wait for you to hear it.”
Stevie recorded it earlier this year in Los Angeles – it’s available as a digital download or to stream.
