I’m not sure if this will be good or if it will be horrible. Taking tastes that go well together and recreating them in a flavored coffee or flavored ice cream gives me reason for concern. Maybe I am showing my ignorance on the matter but I feel as though chemicals must be present to recreate certain tastes and flavors rather than having the actual food represent itself. . .
Regardless of how the final product is accomplished, here’s an interesting article pointing you to Walmart if you’re interested in laboratory food.
Here’s the article:
Mustard goes great on a salted pretzel … but do the two tastes belong in an ice cream? Ice cream maker Van Leeuwen – which made headlines last year with their Kraft Mac and Cheese ice cream certainly thinks so. They’ve teamed up with Grey Poupon on a limited-edition flavor called, Grey Poupon with Salted Pretzels. Interested?
You can grab a pint at Walmart.
