Easy, convenient, no-cooking breakfast: Count me in…or not. I have not eaten cereal since I was kid…until recently I rediscovered a few brands that are gluten free and now I’m almost hooked.

Many brands boast impressive health claims but I wonder whether these cereals are as healthy as they claim to be. Many (if not most) are loaded with sugar and carbs. We all know that high sugar consumption is harmful.

Experts say studies reveal that the health claims on cereal boxes are an effective way to mislead us into believing that the cereal is healthier than it is. Once again, the word ‘Moderation’ rears its stupid head.

Question: How many bowls of Lucky Charms is too many (I’m asking for a friend).
