Twitter has begun cracking down on misinformation. I found this article on CBS News:
The social media giant is using both human reviewers and an automated system to tag tweets that include misleading information about COVID-19 vaccines. Twitter says it will use a strike system. One strike will see no action. Two strikes will result in an account being locked for 12 hours. Five or more strikes may result in being permanently banned.
Twitter said, “Through the use of the strike system, we hope to educate people on why certain content breaks our rules so they have the opportunity to further consider their behavior and their impact on the public conversation.” (CBS News)

Some critics are opposing this and say, “People are free to make up their own minds and believe what they choose to believe. Don’t punish them for it”.
