KEARNEY, Neb. – The following is from the Kearney Police Department:
At approximately 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, the Good Samaritan Ambulance was called to a residence located at 520 W. 14th Street in Southwest Kearney, for an infant that was not breathing.
Kearney Police Officers were the first to arrive on the scene and discovered that a one-month old baby girl had died. Initial investigation indicates that this death appears to be accidental.
The case remains under investigation by the Kearney Police Department and the Buffalo County Attorney’s Office. The Buffalo County Attorney’s Office has ordered an autopsy in this case.
