There won’t be a Husker spring game Saturday in Memorial Stadium… but their will be a Red/White game, and it will feature a long list of legendary Nebraska football players. It’s the 2020 Spring game… video game style, thanks again Covid-19.
The pandemic forced school officials to cancel what is normally a final spring practice in front of a nearly packed house. Not this year.
Instead we get a video game loaded with Big names

That’s alot of pretty darn good football players… And you know I’ve leaving someone out.
What’s the point? Not every college football program in the nation can pull off a “simulated” game with two rosters loaded with legendary players… and still have a long list of legendary guys who will not be part of Saturday’s very special video game showdown.
Fans can watch on the Huskers’ Facebook, Twitter or Twitch accounts. The game will incorporate audio from the Husker Sports Radio Network. Nebraska is also encouraging fans to wear red and celebrate the game at home, and share pictures on social media with the hashtag #GBRUnited
Oh… and just one more thing… No Tom Rathman??? Seriously???
