September 11^th, 2001..a date we’ll never forget...a DAY where lives were lost and Heroes were made!  As we near the Anniversary of this world changing event, 107.7 The Island and Mid-Nebraska Disposal want to recognize our Home Town Heroes! Is there someone you know that you’d consider your “Home Town Hero”?   Simply write and tell us why YOU think this special person deserves this title! 107.7 The Island will then choose five stories and post them on our website for everyone to read.
